Build your distribution network. Reach new audiences. Earn more from your content.
The audience for your content is not limited to those already subscribed to your broadcast partners’ platforms or visiting your own site.
Recast provides the infrastructure for content owners to build commercially incentivized distribution networks, enabling them to connect with publishers, federations, athletes, personalities and anyone else with an audience.
Together, they can distribute premium content directly to established audiences and share in the revenue it generates.
- Content owners benefit from greater reach while retaining control of their content, pricing and availability.
- Distributors can offer relevant premium content to their audiences and earn a share of every transaction they generate.
More reach for content owners. More revenue for distributors.
Recast enables this value exchange by handling everything in the background: payments, access, entitlements and automated revenue settlement, at zero cost.
Put simply:
If you have an audience, you can earn from it. If you need an audience, you can incentivize those who already have one.
How Swimming Canada is putting this into practice

This week, Swimming Canada began using Recast to distribute the 2026 Bell Canadian Swimming Trials to international audiences through World Aquatics.
Swimming Canada had already sold the domestic rights to the event to a Canadian broadcaster.
Commercial opportunity over?
Not quite.
While Swimming Canada naturally has a strong audience in its home market, it also wanted to make the competition available to aquatics fans around the world.
Rather than trying to build that global audience from scratch, Swimming Canada partnered with World Aquatics, an organization that already reaches those fans.
World Aquatics places the content directly on its website using a Recast widget and promotes it to its international audience.
The result is a model that benefits all parties:
- Swimming Canada expands the event’s distribution beyond Canada and generates an additional revenue stream from its international rights.
- World Aquatics can offer relevant, premium live and on-demand content directly from its own website, while earning a revenue share from every transaction generated through the widget.
- Fans purchase access within the World Aquatics environment, and Recast handles the rest.
One Event. Multiple routes to market.
The Swimming Canada example demonstrates that selling rights in one market does not have to represent the end of the monetization opportunity.
Content owners can combine traditional rights agreements with transactional distribution in other territories, using partners that already have trusted relationships with the audiences they want to reach.
Recast provides the infrastructure for these connections, allowing content owners to build a network of commercially incentivized distributors around their content.
The opportunity is not simply to distribute more content.
It is to build a network of organizations that are motivated to help that content travel further.
